The Severn Riverkeeper Program is dedicated to protecting and restoring
Maryland’s Capital River. Our four areas of focus are advocacy, education,
water quality monitoring, and restoration.
The Severn Riverkeeper Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation
organization and all contributions are tax deductible. Proceeds support
our mission to make the Severn safe for swimming for our children and
healthy habitat for all marine life.
Join with an annual membership of only $50 or become a Severn 1000
Member with a $1,000 or greater donation. The Severn 1000 are the
backbone of the Program. This year alone our members helped support
a $500,000 restoration project and obtain an additional $1 Million in
